Inspired by her daughters , founder and designer Danielle Ingemann established Ameloukids  in 2022 when she couldn’t find good quality knitwear for them to wear. Setting out to create the SOFTEST machine washable lambswool collection ,with quality and touch being focus, and keen attention to detail and quality,  she created a beautiful , luxurious and sustainable collection. These pieces are designed to be worn and loved for generations.

 

The values of the brand include taking care of the planet and future generations , so the making process embracing a truly sustainable approach to fashion. Amelou ensures each garment is designed and hand-crafted in its London atelier or in a small factory in Nottingham, from the finest British-spun lambswool. The washing process ensures these are so soft, feeling like cashmere , ensuring little ones sensitive skin approves.
